Get to know Jessalyn a bit:

  • A dream of mine would be to swim with sharks.

  • My favorite self-wellness activity is spending time with my friends, walking my dog, and reading

  • I am most comfortable when I am at home with my dog, watching tv or reading a book, and eating my favorite snacks.

  • I feel powerful when I listen to good music.

  • What I love about my mind is that I am able to consider the world from multiple perspectives and be empathetic towards others’ beliefs and opinions.

  • Something my younger self would be proud of is that I never gave up hope and am now working towards earning my PsyD.

  • My favorite color is lavender.

  • My happy place is being at a concert with my friends.

  • A quote that motivates me would be “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”- Carl Jung

  • I have a dog named Rambo who is a beagle pit mix. He is sweet, but also full of energy! We enjoy going on walks, playing tug-of-war, and cuddling.

  • My favorite treats are donuts and chocolate chip cookies.

  • My favorite artists are Twenty One Pilots, Halsey, Lana Del Ray, The Weeknd, and Lord Huron.
